Origin and Philosophy

Born from an obsession with purity in sound reproduction, MATTER Loudspeakers was founded to challenge conventions in loudspeaker design. Created by a passionate Greek engineer with a background in electronics and industrial design, each model is built around core principles of low mass, open architecture, and phase coherence. MATTER is not about excess—it’s about revealing what truly matters in music.

The MATTER range currently includes the Anti-MATTER and its smaller sibling, the Anti-MATTER C. Both are 3-way dipole designs featuring custom SB Acoustics drivers, MATTER’s own ribbon tweeter, and hand-built crossovers with zero electrolytics. The C variant offers identical performance in a more compact footprint, ideal for smaller listening environments.

Both models are available in natural or black oak veneer, or finished in any RAL colour. Each speaker is built to order, with premium materials and a strong focus on sonic integrity.

The Anti-Matter C

The Anti-MATTER C is the compact version of MATTER’s original design, offering the same open-baffle performance in a smaller frame. It shares the full driver set and crossover, with only a reduced baffle size. Ideal for smaller spaces, it maintains the same clarity, dynamics, and tone. Custom finishes available. Sensitivity: 89dB. Dimensions: 125 × 45 × 47cm.

The Anti-MATTER C is the compact edition of MATTER Loudspeakers’ original Anti-MATTER—delivering the same open-baffle, high-end performance in a smaller footprint. With a reduced baffle size as the only change, it retains the full driver complement and crossover design of its larger sibling. Finished in natural or black oak veneer, or any RAL colour on request, the C version suits smaller spaces without compromising on transparency, impact, or tonal finesse. Dimensions: 125cm (H) × 45cm (W) × 47cm (D). Sensitivity: 89dB.

The Anti-Matter

The Anti-MATTER is MATTER’s first loudspeaker—a 3-way open-baffle dipole for rooms up to 100m². Featuring twin 15” woofers, Satori midrange, and MATTER’s in-house ribbon tweeter, it delivers clarity, depth, and precision. Premium crossover parts, no electrolytics, and refined construction ensure top-tier performance with custom finishes available.

The Anti-MATTER is MATTER Loudspeakers’ debut design—a bold, low-mass 3-way dipole built for high-end performance in spaces up to 100m². It features twin 15” open-baffle woofers, a 6.5” Satori midrange, and MATTER’s proprietary ribbon tweeter with in-house impedance matching. The crossover uses premium Duelund and Jantzen components, with user-adjustable filters and no electrolytic capacitors. Voiced for transparency, bass authority, and soundstage depth, it’s housed in birch ply with oak veneer and silver wiring throughout. Finished with stainless feet by Artesania Audio and custom colour options.

The Anti-MATTER B is a dedicated open-baffle bass module that upgrades the standard Anti-MATTER to the full Anti-MATTER Ultimate system. Seamlessly integrated via the main crossover, it enhances low-end depth and scale while preserving speed and transparency. Built to match the design and performance of the core speaker.

Designed as a dedicated open-baffle bass extension, the Anti-MATTER B transforms the standard Anti-MATTER into the full Anti-MATTER Ultimate system. Integrating seamlessly via the existing crossover, it adds depth, authority, and scale—while preserving the speaker’s core transparency and speed. Built to match the aesthetic and performance DNA of the main loudspeaker, the B module elevates MATTER’s design to a truly full-range dipole system.

The heart of MATTER’s sound is its proprietary ribbon tweeter—an open-back dipole with wide bandwidth, custom transformer, and a weight of 2.4kg. Designed to work with 1st order filters, it offers an effortless and open top end.

HAND-CRAFTED CROSSOVER DESIGN

Each crossover is built by hand using premium components like Duelund cast capacitors and MATTER’s own coils and resistors. There are no electrolytic capacitors—ensuring long-term reliability and signal clarity.
